Queer Youth Histories

Banner illustration by Jacq Moon (detail)

How has growing up LGBTIQA+ changed over time?

What experiences are common across the generations, and what’s different?

How do we learn about people’s diverse queer youth histories and what is gained by learning about them?

Come to hear about different people’s experiences, celebrate the launch of the new Queer Generations book and learn how to get involved in LGBTIQA+ Youth History workshops at the National Museum of Australia (www.queeryouthhistories.com).

Featuring Daniel Marshall and Tinonee Pym (UniSA), Tim Jones (LaTrobe), Craig Middleton (NMA) and, from ANU, Mary Lou Rasmussen, Alistair Ott and students Julius Stoljar, Freya Roper, and Cate Armstrong.
